Six communities north of downtown share the same rock, limestone and dolomite under shallow cherty clay, so root plates run wide and shallow and a tree that looks solid can stand on six or eight inches of soil over bedrock. Two pests are worth naming: emerald ash borer, first found in Tennessee right here in Knox County in 2010 and usually fatal to an ash within three years, and Callery pear, whose narrow crotch angles split the tree under its own weight. We are a short run up Maynardville Highway; call 865-360-6685 and one of the three of us will answer.

What we do in North Knoxville
Tree Pruning & Trimming
Structural pruning and canopy work that leaves the tree better able to hold itself up, not a chainsaw and a guess.
Emergency Storm Response
Priority response when a tree comes down on a house, a drive or a line. We clear it and we clean up after ourselves.
Wood Chipping
On-site chipping so the brush pile leaves with us instead of sitting in your yard until spring.
Stump Grinding
The stump ground out below grade and the lawn left the way we found it — no tracks, no torn turf.
