What Leo's Tree Service collects when you request an estimate, call or text us, or visit this site — and what we do with it. Plain English, no lawyer needed.

Who we are
Leo's Tree Service, LLC, Maynardville, TN. We are three family members who cut trees, not a call center, and this page is written the way we would explain it across a kitchen table.
If anything here is unclear, call 865-360-6685 or email info@leos-treeservice.com and one of us will answer.
What we collect, and why
When you request an estimate, the form asks for your name, phone number, email, the address of the property and a description of the work, with photos if you choose to add them. That form is run by Jobber, the software we use to schedule, quote and invoice, and the details go straight into your file there. We use them to come out, look at the tree, write you a number and do the job.
When you call, a computer assistant may answer. It says so at the start of the call, and it says the call is recorded and transcribed, so the right one of us can call you back knowing what you told it. If you would rather not be recorded, ask for a person or hang up and we will see the missed call. Recordings and transcripts are heard by the three of us and processed by Jobber, kept as long as your job needs them, then deleted.
When you text us, we keep your number and what the message says, for the same reason we keep a voicemail.
When you visit this website, our hosting provider logs the usual server details, such as your IP address and the pages you open. Photographs and video on the site are served by Cloudflare, which sees the same. None of that is tied to your name.
Advertising measurement
We run ads, and we need to know whether they work. This site loads a measurement pixel provided by OpenAI on every page. It sets a first-party cookie, named __oppref, and reports two things: that a page was viewed, and that an estimate request was completed. That lets a visit be matched to an ad you may have seen.
The pixel can also send a scrambled version of contact details typed into a website. This site has no form of its own, so nothing you type is sent that way; the estimate form is on Jobber's site, outside the pixel's reach. We will update this page if that ever changes.
We also use Google Analytics to see which pages bring people to us and whether they go on to call or request an estimate. It sets a first-party cookie, named _ga, and reports the pages you view, taps on our phone number, and completed estimate requests. It does not receive your name, your number or anything you type.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal where the pixel supports it. There is no cookie banner because a small business at our size is not required to show one; these paragraphs are the disclosure instead.
Text messages
You opt in to texts from us by ticking the consent box on the estimate request form, or by giving us your number when you call or text about a job. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of hiring us.
Job texts cover the work you asked about: confirming your estimate, reminding you of an appointment, letting you know we are on the way, sending your quote or invoice, replying to your questions, and following up after a call. Message frequency varies with what your job needs.
Promotional texts, such as a seasonal offer, go only to people who tick Jobber's separate marketing-consent box, and we send no more than four a month. Replying STOP ends those too.
Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any text to stop. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT work as well, or call or email us and ask. You will get one text confirming you are opted out and nothing more unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help.
Who we share it with
Jobber runs our forms, scheduling, quotes, invoices, text messaging and call handling, so your details live in Jobber's systems. Jobber sends texts on our behalf and may not use your number for anything else.
OpenAI receives the advertising measurement described above, not your name, phone number or the contents of your request.
Google receives the analytics described above — pages viewed and taps on the number — never your name or contact details.
Cloudflare delivers the photographs and video on this site and sees the IP address that requests them.
We hand your details to nobody else, with one exception: if the law requires it.
We do not sell your information. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Photos of your property
We photograph and film our work, and some of it appears on this site so people can see what a finished job looks like. Your job is shown only with the permission you give us at the estimate or in the quote, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Before anything is published we strip the location data cameras embed in files and look at every frame for a house number, a license plate, a face or a piece of mail. If we missed one, or you would simply like a picture taken down, tell us and it comes down.
How we keep it
Your file sits in Jobber, which stores it with industry-standard safeguards. Access is limited to the three of us. We keep it for as long as your job, its warranty and our business records need it.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, call 865-360-6685 or email info@leos-treeservice.com. To stop texts, reply STOP. To block the advertising cookie, use your browser settings.
Not for children, and changes to this page
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change how we handle your information, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
