Two backyard trees and the neighbor's maple

Two small trees came out of the back yard. Neither was hard on its own — the backyard fence and the roof were the only things to stay off, and both trees were small enough to cut and fell in place.

The homeowner had already dropped some limbs before we arrived. Those went out with the rest, within reason, rather than coming back as a separate line on the estimate. Everything green went through the chipper and off site.

The second half of the job was next door. A maple in the neighboring front yard had a bad spar on the left side, and that spar came off entirely. The rest of the tree was topped lightly and trimmed, not reduced hard. It was worked from the lift.

That part was quoted separately and to the neighbor. Two properties, two agreements, one crew and one lift already on the street. Splitting it that way costs less than two separate mobilizations and it keeps clear who is paying for what.

Less than a day on each part.

If the tree that worries you is on the other side of the line, we will look at it. But the person who owns it is the person who has to say yes.
