A dead hardwood over a sprinkler system

A large dead stem standing right beside a house does not leave much room for choices. It came out on the lift, in sections, with the wall on one side the whole way down.

The other constraint was underfoot. There was a sprinkler system in that lawn, and sprinkler lines and heads sit shallow. A lift or a tractor crossing them is how a tree job turns into an irrigation repair, and the homeowner ends up paying twice for one afternoon. Ground protection mats went down, and the machines stayed on them.

Everything went off-site. Brush, limbs and the hardwood, all of it into the truck and away. No stack at the back of the property, no pile for somebody to deal with in the fall.
