A blown-over tree lying across a fence line
Fountain City · April 2026
A large tree had blown over and was lying across the fence line.
No lift on this one, and no climbing. The tree had already done the falling. What a job like this actually is, is a cutting problem: a stem on the ground is loaded — bound in some places, sprung in others — and the cuts do not behave the way they do on a tree that is still standing. Reading which way a section wants to move before the bar goes in is the whole of the work.
The tree was cut down into manageable lengths and cleared off in full. A tractor moved the wood to the truck, all of it hauled off site with disposal included, and the fence line blown clean. One full day.
Call us when something is already down. That is the job we drop other things for.
