Free estimate

What happens on a free estimate visit: we walk the property, assess the tree and the hazards around it, and leave you with a written number. No obligation, no pressure.

One of us drives out and walks the property with you. It costs nothing, there is no obligation, and we do not ask for a deposit to show up.

We look at the tree from the ground, from the drive, and from wherever it would have to fall. Most of the visit is not spent looking at the tree at all — it is spent looking at what is underneath and around it.

Every estimate we write records the same hazards in the same place: septic field, power lines, and the structures within reach. Those are written down rather than remembered, because they decide the method, and the method decides the number.

We work out how it comes down. Climbed, if the ground will not carry a machine or the drop zone is a roof. From a lift, if we can get one in. Felled whole, if there is genuinely room — which there rarely is.

Then you get a written number covering the whole job, cleanup included. What we quote is what you pay. If the tree turns out to be hollow when we open it, that is our problem, not a change order.
